{"id":116,"date":"2009-07-28T00:17:06","date_gmt":"2009-07-28T05:17:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/?p=116"},"modified":"2009-07-28T00:17:06","modified_gmt":"2009-07-28T05:17:06","slug":"20th-stop-legoland-carlsbad-california","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/20th-stop-legoland-carlsbad-california\/","title":{"rendered":"20th stop &#8211; LegoLand &#8211; Carlsbad, California"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are still in Carlsbad, California which happens to be the home of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legoland.com\/california.htm\">Legoland<\/a>.<br \/>\nI find amusement parks fun, but Legoland was even better than expected.<\/p>\n<p>There are full size people made entirely of legos &#8211; 120,000 or so per person.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-117\" title=\"blog_legoland3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/blog_legoland3.JPG\" alt=\"blog_legoland3\" width=\"150\" height=\"113\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What a cool place to hang out if you are a little kid or a big little kid.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-118\" title=\"blog_legoland2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/blog_legoland2.JPG\" alt=\"blog_legoland2\" width=\"150\" height=\"113\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As we arrived, we signed Sammy up for a lego robotics class in the afternoon.<br \/>\nWe told them it was his birthday so he received a cool button to go on his shirt.<br \/>\nBen was crushed and wanted to go home.<br \/>\nThey gave Ben a birthday button as well and he was happy.<br \/>\nSammy and I went to the robotics class and we had a blast.<br \/>\nWe designed a robot to pick up some magnetic rocks.\u00a0 Tons of fun!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-120\" title=\"blog_legoland1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/blog_legoland1.JPG\" alt=\"blog_legoland1\" width=\"150\" height=\"113\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We arrived at 10 am and left at 8 pm.<br \/>\nSammy had a great birthday at Legoland.<br \/>\nIn all, he rode 3 roller coasters and attended a really cool class on robotics.<br \/>\nHe also picked out a cool Lego kit for his birthday.<\/p>\n<p>We also hit the Pirate buffet with all you can eat ribs, BBQ chicken, and smoked turkey legs.<br \/>\nIt was a Pirate feast for all.\u00a0 Argggggghhhhh!<br \/>\nWeeerah eaten turkee legggggs &#8211; arrggghhhh!<\/p>\n<p>Adios,<br \/>\nThe A-team!<\/p>\n<p>P.S.\u00a0 Who said &#8220;I think we\u2019ve all arrived at a very special place.
