{"id":260,"date":"2011-07-02T23:17:33","date_gmt":"2011-07-03T04:17:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/?p=260"},"modified":"2011-07-02T23:17:33","modified_gmt":"2011-07-03T04:17:33","slug":"chicago","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/chicago\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicago"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We made it to Chicago and it was pretty cool as usual.\u00a0 We walked all over the zoo, biked along lake Michigan in the rain, and had some big old fat slices of pizza pie.\u00a0 Chicago-style stuff pizza is really hard to beat.<\/p>\n<dl id=\"attachment_261\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" style=\"width: 160px;\">\n<dt class=\"wp-caption-dt\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-261\" title=\"chicago_pizza_2011\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/chicago_pizza_2011-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"best pizza pie in the world\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/dt>\n<\/dl>\n<p>We wrapped up our stop here by visiting the most amazing museum in the world &#8211; the museum of Science and Industry.\u00a0 If you are ever in the Chicago area, you have to hit that museum.\u00a0 It is lots of walking, but there are tons of things to do and see.\u00a0 We were able to tour the U-505 &#8211; the German sub captured by the US in WWII.\u00a0 This was really cool and we have been talking about it for days!
