Road Trip \u2013 Part 7 \u2013 New Hampshire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On our way to New Hampshire, we stopped off in Vermont for a tour of the Ben and Jerry&#8217;s Ice Cream factory.\u00a0 We watched a short video and learned all about the history of the company.\u00a0 We love running our own shaved ice stand in the summer so learning more about a company that makes awesome ice cream was really cool.\u00a0 The ice cream was the best and the WilE loved the bathroom.\u00a0 Free samples rock and roll.\u00a0 We had milk and cookies for FREE!\u00a0 What can you say &#8211; Ice Cream is really good and Ben and Jerry&#8217;s makes some cool flavors of ice cream.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_414\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-414\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption href=\"http:\/\/www.nhstateparks.org\/explore\/state-parks\/franconia-notch-state-park.aspx\">Franconia Notch State Park<\/a> was one of our favorite spots\u00a0 on this road trip.\u00a0 There was so much for all of us to do.<\/p>\n<p>The Flume Gorge Hike was really cool as we were able to walk down into a live water fall.\u00a0 It was cold and the water was blowing everywhere.\u00a0 Wile loved the cave, but it was wet and creepy.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_416\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-416\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nhstateparks.org\/uploads\/pdf\/LafayetteCampgroundMap_2011_web.pdf\">Lafayette Place Campground<\/a> in site 19.\u00a0 The site was great as it was a large camp site that backed up to the mountains.\u00a0 We had awesome neighbors minus the crazy lady with the dog and beer breath.\u00a0 She scared Ben so bad he almost wanted to go home. \u00a0 We loved the open field and all of the soccer games with Ellis and his big brother from Massachusetts.\u00a0 Our hot dogs were really good as well as we got to cook them on the fire once our dog got out of the way.\u00a0 He almost \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-418\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Campsite 19 Layfayette Campground<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The state park rents bikes all over and you can bike from spot to spot throughout the park.\u00a0 We really wish we had done this, but our little brother is too small.\u00a0 Maybe next time.<\/p>\n<p>We saw the illusive pigmy bear that only exists in Franconia \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-420\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Franconia Notch&#8217;s Pigmy Bear<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It did rain on us a bit, but it was not a big deal.\u00a0 It actually rained on us on all of our camping spots but 1 this summer so we were used to it.\u00a0\u00a0 Our Marmot tents have held up really well and have kept us dry the whole way no matter how much it has rained.<\/p>\n<p>We rode the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecog.com\/\">Mt.
