{"id":43,"date":"2009-07-13T15:55:47","date_gmt":"2009-07-13T20:55:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/?p=43"},"modified":"2009-07-13T15:55:47","modified_gmt":"2009-07-13T20:55:47","slug":"9th-stop-grand-canyon-part-ii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/9th-stop-grand-canyon-part-ii\/","title":{"rendered":"9th stop &#8211; Grand Canyon part II"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have now been here for 2 full days and it is really cool.<br \/>\nWe have ventured to the Imperial Point and Cape Royal.<br \/>\nThere are many nice spots to stop along the way to each view.<br \/>\nSam and Ben did some power-lifting.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-47\" title=\"blog_sam_strong_man\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/blog_sam_strong_man.JPG\" alt=\"blog_sam_strong_man\" width=\"150\" height=\"113\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From Cape Royal, you can see the Colorado through Angel&#8217;s window.<br \/>\nYou can see the triangular hole in the mountain in the pic.<br \/>\nThrough this hole, you can see the Colorado rushing.<br \/>\nIt is very cool.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-44\" title=\"blog_angels_window\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/blog_angels_window-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"blog_angels_window\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The walk out on top of Angel&#8217;s window is very narrow and tricky.<br \/>\nSammy, thinking he is a Mountain Goat, tried to jump up a rock and fell off on the way off the mountain.<br \/>\nThank the lord for guard rails as he needed one.<br \/>\nBen fell earlier and they had to compare wounds.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-45\" title=\"blog_injuries\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/blog_injuries-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"blog_injuries\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We hiked from our campground to the North Rim lodge.\u00a0 The view is spectacular.<br \/>\nWe hiked a different trail back.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-46\" title=\"blog_northrim_hike\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roadtrippingforkids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/blog_northrim_hike.JPG\" alt=\"blog_northrim_hike\" width=\"150\" height=\"113\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We are heading back up to the North Rim for the sunset.<br \/>\nIt should be very nice.<\/p>\n<p>We head to Las Vegas, Nevada in the morning.<br \/>\nThe boys think Elvis is playing at the Flamingo!<\/p>\n<p>Adios,<br \/>\nThe A-Team<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have now been here for 2 full days and it is really cool.
